Our Locomotive Fleet
Southern: Locomotive No. 420
"Southern" (Original name is unknown) is a steam locomotive built on June 6th 1945. He is a Southern Railway V (Schools) Class. He was bought by The C&SVR on June 10th 1946. he was sold cheap as while in the workshops, some painters who were under the influence messed up his paint scheme and painted the wrong number on him. The Southern Railway didn't really want the locomotive and due to the low amounts of paint, didn't bother repainting him so he was kept indispose as to not give the railway a bad image. He currently as of now runs mixed goods on the C&SVR mainline as of now.
Fun Fact: Southern was the first oc created for the series back in 2019. Original name being Sean
Russell: Locomotive No. 69
Fun Fact: Russell is based on Locomotive No.69 Br 60069 which worked at Southampton docks
"Russell" is a steam locomotive built january 7th 1943 in America built for shunting during WW2 and arrived to England in the same year. He is a Southern Railway S100 class. He was accidentally involved in a major WW2 operation that involved an LMS Coronation breaking down on the mainline with imported goods. Russell was sent as a rescue locomotive to rescue the important goods, during the operation, they were gunned down by the opposing forces and managed to make it back without a scratch. He was sold off to a steelworks but was sold off shortly after his short time at the steelworks due to some incidents. He was bought by the C&SVR and runs the yards along the mainline and pulls small trains to and from yards.
Paddington: Locomotive No.6969
Fun Fact: is also bassed on a real life hall class locomotive and the two share the same number
CornWallis: Locomotive No. C11
Fun Fact: CornWallis's original names was "The Veteran" and Connor but was later changed
"Wraysbury Hall" also known as Paddington, is A GWR Hall class built on April 17th 1944. She worked on the GWR as a mixed traffic engine pulling primarily slower passenger trains and the few goods trains that she did pull. She was shunted into a shed on May 15th 1946 as punishment for causing a rather horrendous accident on the mainline, whilst nobody was killed, the injuries were horrid. Read more about the accident here. She was meant to be sold off for scrap the following year if nothing changed, however, the month after she was locked in the sheds, Marvin Ritz came along and bought her on the spot after the railway told him they didn't have much use for her anymore. She arrived on the Railway June 11th, 1946, and now works on the C&SVR as one of the engines on the Heavy Goods Division.
CornWallis is a Southern Railway Q1 class locomotive built for WW2 on November 19th 1944. Whilst still a Q1 class, CornWallis was given a double chimney to experiment in the same vein as the King Arthur class had 3 in order to be "stealth locomotives". Of course, this had failed but he had kept his modifications, CornWallis was assigned to work for an important military operation. Read more about this operation here. The operation had failed and CornWallis got gunned down by opposing forces. He hid in a tunnel for about 3 weeks with his crew waiting to be rescued, not getting a bit of sleep. He was bought by the C&SVR railway on May 16th 1946 and he now works as the engine who primarily does the odd jobs such as coal trains and works trains on the C&SVR.
